Which Burgundy appellations can I find at the cellar?
Our selection celebrates the Côte de Beaune appellations that surround us: Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. You will also find wines from the climats of the Burgundy vineyards, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We keep an open door to other French and international regions too, for curiosity and fine discoveries.
How do your wine merchants help me choose?
Tell us the occasion, the dish to pair or simply the wines you enjoy: our merchants tailor every recommendation to your taste and your budget, never rushing it. A stone's throw from Place Carnot in Beaune, we take the time to talk so you leave with exactly the right bottle. You can also browse our wine list before you visit.
Do you ship wine across France and abroad?
Yes. Whether you live in Beaune, elsewhere in France or abroad, we pack and ship your bottles with care, in packaging designed for transporting wine. Choose your wines and complete your shipment from the order page, or speak to a merchant who will take care of everything.
Do you offer gift boxes and gift ideas?
Of course. A great Côte de Beaune wine always makes a fine gift, and we are happy to put together gift boxes to suit the person and the occasion: a Burgundy discovery, a red-and-white pairing, or a bottle to lay down. Drop by the cellar on rue Poterne and we will design the assortment together.
Can I find grands crus, rare wines or old vintages?
Through our encounters with growers, the cellar brings together everyday cuvées as well as grands crus, rare bottles and a few old vintages to enjoy for a special occasion. Availability changes with the rhythm of the vineyard, so the surest way is to ask us what we currently have in stock.
Can I buy by the case and build my own cellar?
Absolutely. You can buy by the bottle or by the case, and we will help you build a coherent cellar: wines to drink now and others to lay down, balanced between Burgundy reds and whites. Tell us your wishes and your drinking horizon, and we will make the selection with you.
